First, we need to determine your actual vehicle. You do not state whether it is a Coupe, Convertible, or Z28. My answer is based on the vehicle being a non-Z28 Coupe, that was originally and is currently equipped with multi leaf springs.

The 5 leaf ML5629 is a Standard Duty spring, and has a rate of 89 Lbs. The 4 leaf ML193 is a Heavy Duty spring, and has a rate of 103 Lbs. Both the 4 and 5 leaf springs are engineered to bring your vehicle back to stock ride height.

If you purchase the proper spring for your application, you will achieve the correct ride height. Purchasing a spring designed for a different application can and will cause ride height and ride quality issues. We see it all the time. It is very common for people to believe that a spring for a heaver vehicle is the correct choice to increase ride height or  capacity. This is not correct. The correct choice is a spring designed for the vehicle with the desired ride height or capacity.

If stock ride height was not what you wished, we offer springs that will lift or lower your vehicle up to 3 Inches, in 1/2 Inch increments.
